• Files and URLs you choose to scan are only sent to the configured ClamScan backend API for the purpose of performing the virus scan.

Data Usage

• Files and URLs submitted for scanning are processed only to check for potential viruses or malware.
• Scan results are displayed directly to the user inside the extension popup.
• The extension does not store or reuse any of this data.

Third Parties

• The extension does not share data with any third parties.
• If you use your own backend (e.g., localhost), all scanning is performed locally and never leaves your system.

User Control

You remain in control of the extension at all times. You may uninstall it at any moment through your Chrome settings.
